We want you to feel connected at Hartsville Church of God! That connection happens as you get to know the people and the staff at the church. But beyond that, it happens as you find your own special place to serve the Lord and make a difference in the lives of others. We have many ministries in the church to serve those who attend our church services, but many also provide ways in which you can play a part in serving others. Please contact the church if you would like additional information about any of these ministries.
Grounded Students
Our youth program, Grounded Students, is designed for our students to encounter God and to develop their leadership skills so that they may be equipped to bring the Kingdom of God to their communities. Our mission is to make disciples who have their own encounters with God, know His Word, and reach their maximum potential in every season of their life.

Through creativity and innovation, we are creating an atmosphere where students can come into a community with other students while experiencing the love of God in fun and creative ways.
Grounded Kids
We are dedicated to creating a safe place for kids to have fun, build relationships with God and others, discover their purpose, and learn to walk in Kingdom identity. Our online experience is designed to equip you with fun family activities, engaging praise and worship, and age-appropriate messages that will help your child grow deeper in God’s word from the comfort and safety of your own home!
Soup Kitchen

Women's Ministry
The Women's Ministry at HCOG is for all women - no matter your age, background, or life stage. We want to meet ladies right where they are and come alongside them - encouraging, supporting, praying, and equipping them in their journey with God. We want to grow our faith and demonstrate His love and grace through our lives and relationships. We want deeper, Christ-centered relationships with each other through women's small groups, prayer meetings, fellowships, and mentoring. We want to encourage and equip women to faithfully and fully use their God-given gifts to glorify God. As we worship and serve the Lord together, we want every woman to feel loved and accepted for who she is in Christ so that she is transformed and empowered to live out Christ's love and grace.
Life Groups
So what are Life Groups? Life Groups are relational. When we look at the commands and examples in Scripture we see a much more intimate, knowledgable way that the early church interacted with one another. Life Groups are designed to help facilitate opportunities for more intimate relationships within our local body. The small nature of these groups provides a less pressured environment for people to be real with one another when it comes to spiritual things.
Why should you join a Life Group? Because it’s going to be the fastest way to get started developing relationships with others within the body at HCOG. But don’t stop there! We love hearing about members who are getting together outside of normal church times for encouragement, prayer, and even just enjoying being together. Why? Because that’s part of what God desires for His church.
Men's Ministry
Men aren’t designed to do life on their own–living without accountability, encouragement, discipline and perseverance. At Hartsville Church of God, we train and equip men to be spiritual leaders in their homes, in the church, and the workplace. We strive to achieve spiritual growth by connecting men through special events, Small Groups, Bible studies, social media, and service opportunities.
